Impact Planning Initiative

Our approach focuses on achieving impact.

We recognize that cultural organizations are being asked to measure their results in the communities they serve.  A statement of intended impact also can be a guidepost that empowers staff to make effective, purposeful decisions.  In our planning projects, we convey the importance and value of impact-driven planning.

Our approach emphasizes professional and organizational development.

We lead customized workshops as the foundation to our planning work while providing professional and organizational development around the concept of achieving impact.  Our intent is to strengthen individuals and the whole organization.  As a result, the organization’s leadership and staff are empowered to work collaboratively and fuel change for a new, impact-driven way of working.

For more information, please see our Planning for Impact workshop brochure.

We recently conducted impact planning projects with the following museums.

Chemical Heritage Foundation, Philadelphia, PA

Florida Museum of Natural History, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL

National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC

The Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford, CT
